I don’t get names like this NaBloPoMo…I guess it’s shorter and sounds cooler than saying National Blog Posting Month. I won’t even tell you how long it took me to figure out that Payless’ BOGO meant Buy One, Get One…sheesh. Regardless of how I feel about the name, I like the idea:
Post once a day for the month of November. That’s all you have to do.
Ahh…now wouldn’t it have been nice if I’d come across it prior to November? Yeah.
Well, as with every-damn-thing else in my life here lately, I’m more than a day late and a dollar short, so I decided that half a month was better than no month at all.
We’ll see if I a) make it and b) can create a new habit?
Wish me luck…
Welcome to 30 days of hell!
I mean, ah, what I meant to say was that NaBloPoMo is so much fun! Meet new people! Express yourself creatively in ways you never had before!
And get tagged for random memes like the one I am tagging you for.
Details on my blog!
Welcome to NaBloYeahWhaEva
Or something like that. I am so over writing the name already 🙂
I guess in your case it will be NaBloPoHaMo huh?
(half-month?)
Andie – only 16 days of hell for me…unless I want to cheat and start back-dating posts – which I think I’ll skip in the name of both ethics and laziness. 🙂
Veronica – I’m with you – I don’t foresee typing it too many more times. I’ll be doing good to post once a day!
Madame M – you got it! If nothing else, this gets me back in contact with all of you, which can only be a good thing. I’ve been gone too long…way too long.
I have always wondered what Nablopomo means anytime i come across it,thanks for this explanation. But what’s this posting stuff i’m hearing?I guess i skipped the rules or something.
