I heard my mother make comments all the time with my younger two kids like, “Oh my…this is like you all over again!” and “I’ve met this kid before somewhere…” and “I swear it’s like going backward 30 years!”
All those times, I was generally amused, but didn’t really “get it”.
Now, I do.
Look at this nonsense:
Oldest Son (1988) | Sweet Pea (2010)
Oldest Son & His Dad (1988)

Sweet Pea & Her Dad (2010)

Mmmm…hmmm…
Congratulations! My mother told me nearly the same, but before that she could not imagine herself as grandma. Now is she so happy.
double trouble is what i was thinking…lol she sure has gotten big since the last time i saw her. Tell her to hurry up and get some hair so I can make her some hair bows and headbands!
Tracy – we're workin' on it! I bought some barrettes at Wal-Mart…prematurely…LOL…but she's got enough fuzz now that if she'd LEAVE THEM ALONE, the barrettes would stay in. But can she leave them alone? No.
Oh wow, she is a cutie! And so much like her dad! it's scary when they look so alike isn't it? Enjoy!
hahaha. that is so so true. my mom said the same thing a few days back when she saw my kid ๐
Nice to see your post. ๐
Sweet Pea and her daddy looks just alike, but she is a cutie! ๐
